Seed4com joins the Green Peace Philippines’ Diversity Fair which runs from October 6 to 8, 2014 at Ayala Center Cebu.
The Diversity Fair Visayas is the second leg of the nationwide activity which is part of Greenpeace Philippines’ effort to promote ecological agriculture. The fair showcases the produce from some local farms which have adapted organic farming and support food diversity.
The fair proper will be open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm from October 6-8, 2014. The opening rites will be at 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on October 6, 2014
Other activities lined up are—cooking demonstrations; lectures on healthy lifestyle, edible urban gardening, aquaponics, importance of bees, plant based diet, and more.
The Diversity Fair Program is as follows:
OCTOBER 6, 2014
10am-9pm – Diversity Fair proper (photo exhibit, exhibitors, concessionaires) (between Yellow Cab and Shakey’s)
11am-12nn – Opening Rites
3pm-6pm – EAT, LEARN, GROW (a lecture on aquaponics, urban gardening, importance of bees, plant-based diets, and more)

Seed4com will be promoting the vertical garden technique to be implemented in Gilutongan island which will help solve malnutrition in the island. Seed4com will also be promoting its “Island warrior trash heroes” campaign and the Seed4com’s Eco-camp.
