For a community to survive and become sustainable, it must first take priority in educating those who will someday replace them. However, education doesn’t mean only the youths should benefit from it. SEED4COm believes that those who will have to guide and direct the younger generation should first and foremost have the wisdom to equip their youth. Educating the community should not only stop in helping them send their kids to school but also engage the community in the following:
- environmental sustainability and responsibility
- skills training and equipping
- non-formal education
- providing access to higher education
- providing continuing education for working individuals
- informal education
- practical adult learning
- real life examples of learning
SEED4COM understands that the proper knowledge gained and its application in the community setting can go a long way in helping communities achieve sustainability. Join us as we make this goal a reality.
