In line for the coming Let’s Do It Regional Asian Conference that will soon happen on Nov.27-30 in our very own island of Cebu Philippines, yet another continued support for our chosen adopted Island of Gilutongan community.
The 3rd Eco-camp is scheduled on Nov.22-23 Saturday and Sunday, aiming to gather photo enthusiast and professional photographers who would like to volunteer in capturing the island people’s smiles and develop it into a photo portrait which will in turn be given to them, nicely framed on December shortly before Christmas – ‘’ Turning a bucket of trash to a bucket of HOPE’’ in exchange for a bundles of Joy each families shall collect a bucket of trash still illegally disposed within the community.
Kids will still be fed with the nutritional porridge which will be sponsored by donors. Volunteers and more set of individuals will participate in the regular Coastal Clean-up, by this will be showing to the locals that we care for them through our helping hands and in the long run they will see, especially in the children’s eyes that only if everyone takes responsibility on his own hands to aim for a clean and healthier environment, then the community will be a lot happier.
Since November is ‘’ Book Month ‘’ every participants for the camp is encourage to bring some good books to read for the kids and or educational books or visual materials and will have the chance to read good stories and entertain them on the weekend.
Lastly, another awesome highlights for this coming Eco-camp, an energetic and good news from Buzzy Budlong and Co-host Johannes Le, the men behind Island Buzz Philippines SUP & Kayak Adventures. They will be supporting our activity- while we do Coastal Clean-up they will likewise be doing the Ocean Clean up together with more volunteers bringing the theme ‘’Paddle Waters not the Litters’’.
A kayak session will be done for the volunteers after the clean-up.
It’s not too late to plot for your two days weekend off, come and join us. Don’t forget to bring a bunch of smiles and good vibes and remember to bring BOOKS for the kids, they’re’ more than excited to see and hear your stories. J
